VINTAGE READING LAMP WITH DOUBLE LIGHT

Am I allowed to call a lamp from the 80s vintage? Well I just did that! You see this for sale in second hand shops fairly often and it’s usually sold for 45 EUR (that’s what I payed as well). NB: One of the two switches is faulty — used to work but then stopped. I’m pretty sure it’s something easy to fix if your boyfriend is better than me with electronics.

IKEA PAX CUPBOARD

Looks like a small fridge but it’s not. We used this for extra storage space in the kitchen (glasses, cups, no food, nothing messy) but you can put what you want. The front door is not the cheap Ikea material that gets dirty very easily, is the cool one which I’m sure Kartell produces for them.

It’s one of those boards you put on the wall and pin notes, pictures etc., in case the picture wasn’t clear. Size of the board is 90x60cm. DYI design tip: paint the frame in white and it will look way cooler. Wish I did that. Comes with a bunch of “stylish and functional” Muji pins — I feel sorry for the copywriters. SMALL BIKE THAT NEEDS YOUR LOVE & CARE

We bought this bike 3 years ago from a man who repairs, renovates and sells bikes — it’s not a stolen one. Dynamo, brakes etc are all still working well like when we bought it, only difference is that it’s a bit rusty in some parts since we left it in the courtyard for a while. If you give this beauty some love and a good clean you will get a lot in return!

It’s incredible how many jokes one can make with an object called NOT. But I’m NOT going to do any, too easy. It’s the cheapest floor lamp in the world, comes with a free bulb, but you can put any other bulb up to 150W — if you’re ever going to use a 150W bulb your room will look like the Turbine Hall when Olafur Eliasson did that installation.

IKEA LILLBERG SOFA BED
Price: 180 EUR (original price 279 EUR) SOLD!

This sofa bed was so good and convenient (I didn’t say cheap!) that Ikea had to stop producing it. It’s the chance of a lifetime — when are you going to find again such a nice sofa bed for 180 EUR? Have you seen the ones Ikea sells now? They’re terrible! And unwashable. Also comes with TWO! FREE! WHITE! coordinated pillows (not pictured here since these photos were stolen from other sites which we’re grateful to). Important: this sofa is not very heavy so it’s easy to transport it, if you live in the neighbourhood you won’t need a car.
Bedding available separately if you’re interested, but seriously does anyone buy second hand bedding? In our case though it must be said that it was rarely used and nobody had sex on it — I think.

Standard Ivar bookshelves come in natural colour which sucks, I think we all agree. This one though has been painted matte white (2 layers + 2 protective layers first!), a painful and loooooong process that makes it look like a different piece of furniture. Original price was 130 EUR, we’re selling it for 90 because of the painting which drove us crazy and costed a bit of money as well.
